This season is full of change.
You are growing life while still living your everyday moments, carrying both anticipation and love in the same breath.
These are the moments I want to preserve for you. I want you to remember what it felt like to already love someone you have yet to meet, the season when you first become a mother.
My maternity sessions are designed to honor this life changing season with timeless imagery that can be held onto for years to come, a legacy meant to be passed down.
Your maternity session can be documented outdoors in natural light, or in my studio space, depending on the vision you have for your session. Your spouse is always welcome to be part of the maternity session, or the focus can be fully on motherhood alone.
My maternity sessions are thoughtfully styled and gently guided to create timeless, editorial imagery centered on the beauty of motherhood, femininity, and this transformative season of life, inspired by the intimacy of La Vie en Rose Motherhood Portraiture.
A carefully curated client closet filled with feminine gowns and thoughtfully selected pieces is available to help create an effortless and elevated experience from beginning to end. For more intimate maternity portraits, clients provide their own under garments or personal pieces to best reflect their own style and comfort.
For mothers wanting to preserve both maternity and newborn memories, The Beginning Story Bundle brings these two sessions together to document the beginning of your story.
Your maternity session is usually done around 28-32 weeks along when your belly is beautifully rounded and fully showing. This session lasts approximately one hour, allowing time for gentle direction while still keeping the experience relaxed and unhurried.
Your newborn sessions takes place in the comfort of your home in the early days after birth, typically within the first two weeks. These sessions are baby-led, allowing time for feeding, soothing, and allowing time for you to rest as needed. Sessions typically last anywhere from 1.5 to 2 hours to ensure a calm and comfortable pace for both you and baby.
